PASSION PROJECT

This year instead of doing girls coding i decided to do passion project. a passion project is doing something you love to make a difference. I am making non allergenic slime for kindergardens. i am giving the slime to Jumpstart and ABC. here are some photos of my finished packaged slime

this is my art for WIT it is called the landing. this is about when world war ones army corp landed. our task was to create an artwork that commemorates the gallipoli story.

My artwork show that the soldiers are running up the hill to start the war without getting killed by the army above.

WIT

For WIT this term MR A and MRS smith decided that we should work on our art skills. so they gave us a choice of entering in the wall worthy comp 2018 its when you get the choice of doing cubism, impressionism, pop art and negotiated art style. If you win you get to make a mural that everyone can see. i didn't decide to enter the comp but still did an art piece. I chose impressionism for my art style.
My art is called protect the palms. Here is a photo of my art.

My message for my art is to protect mother nature. For my art paints I used acrylic paint with some water to make oil paint and smoothly outline the palms with a dark pencil.

passion project

It all started not long ago. Kids in the hospital were bored out of there minds, we were going to change all of that.

“Lucia I’m talking” anyway, we decided to make toys to give to the kids hospital. But we needed help, Spotlight offered some help they told us to write a letter to persuade them that we are doing something to help the community. They sold us some free materials that we were delighted to have.

Later that day we went shopping for slime materials. We had this great idea to sell slime for money, so it could help us along the way. Thanks to our great slime skills we were able to make over a hundred and fifty dollars. This is where you are supposed to say whoaa, “whoaa” (great sound effects).

After a week of planning we finally got to making some toys. Thanks to mrs smith we  found a sewing teacher called judy. We made our first toy which was a rabbit. Thanks to our fun time grace is now doing sewing lesson on thursdays. I would come but i am busy on thursday but i do have a sewing machine.

 

 

Today we went to the hospital to deliver  the toys. You would never imagine the look on the kids faces. It was joyful.

its too late

I hate life right now. Why today i have a birthday party and all you had to do is ruin my fun. By now you probably know that i'm dying inside.

‘Luce time to go’ no can i just not do it. ‘No Lucia it's too late’ said mum. OMG am i the only one who is wearing makeup. (as i look around) huhh phew someone wearing lip gloss. Wait i’m wearing foundation everyone is staring at me, oh shoot i was dancing.

Girls it's your turn. My heart sank to the bottom of the sea even though there is no sea. We ran in with every tap of our shoe like a gallop of a horse. Ok lets find double shuffles-wait what's that- just make them look like i know it- smile and wave wait what- sorry i said as i ran out of the room

Art

For the the past couple of months i have been working on art. Art is a passion of mine. I love experimenting with new techniques for example Shading.  Shading is when you draw an object and make it look like the sun is shining on to it. It helps with the smudge of your finger to form a shadow on your piece of paper. We watched some videos to help improve our art skills. Here is some of my art i have been working on

For my birthday i got a shading kit and made me improve my shading. Its cool to experiment with different objects shapes and sizes.
